DOWNE TOWNSHIP RECREATION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE

OUR MISSION

The Downe Township Recreation & Tourism’s mission is to identify and hold events and social gatherings to bring our community together in a fun and entertaining environment. We will partner together with local businesses, public committees, and schools to achieve the fun and entertaining environment we are striving for. Our mission also includes creating attractions to increase tourism within our community.

INCLUSION

We are committed to keeping all events inclusive for children of all ages, adults ages 18+, as well as our community of seniors. When doing events that consist of winning prizes, we will have eligibility requirements (ex. children ages 5-7, children 10-15, adults, seniors) eligible for a specific prize.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Without our committee members, we would not have a committee. All committee members are treated with the highest of respect and encouraged to voice new ideas that could help bring our township together in a positive environment. As committee members will be voting/judging most competitions/events, we kindly ask our members to not participate, keeping our competitions free from prejudice.
