Introduction Ordinance 2026-02

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND WAGES FOR THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES

OF THE TOWNSHIP OF DOWNE FOR THE YEAR 2026

 

The above titled ordinances were introduced and passed on first reading by the Township Committee of the Township of Downe at a regular meeting held on February 9, 2026.  The public hearing and second reading for final adoption will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Downe Township Municipal Complex, 288 Main Street, Newport, NJ 08345 at which time any interested person will be given an opportunity to be heard.

These Ordinances are posted on the official township bulletin board and the township website.  A full copy may be obtained by anyone without cost from the office of the Municipal Clerk located at the Downe Township Municipal Complex, 288 Main Street, Newport, NJ, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or via the website at www.downetwpnj.org.
